Campground operators hoping to salvage the fall travel season with bookings.

The Carolinas Association of Campgrounds & RV Parks (CARVC) reports that campgrounds in the western mountains region of North Carolina and South Carolina are open and accessible despite some areas still in active recovery mode in the wake of Hurricane Helene.
