Description

The CARVC Board of Directors will be meeting on 4/29/25 from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM and the CARVC Regional Meeting will follow from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The location is Spacious Skies Hidden Creek in Marion, NC. 

All are welcome to come early & sit in on CARVC Board Meeting at any time!

A tour of Spacious Skies Hidden Creek is also included in the programming. About the park:

Spacious Skies Hidden Creek has 157 sites and cabins situated on 60 acres. The sites are FHU with 50/30 amp service and water/sewer. They have approximately 67% longer term campers, with 3% seasonal. The park has four full time employees and seven seasonal employees. It uses the Newbook software for reservations. Peak season is Memorial Day to Labor Day, with a high occupancy percentage in October.

Recent projects include relocating their cabins. They are currently transforming old cabin sites into new cabin sites. 

The campground was built in the 1960s as a mom-and-pop operation, and has previously been a Jellystone park.Spacious Skies has owned the property for two and a half years. The park services mostly families. Amenities include a jump pillow, mini putt, canoeing and kayaking, fishing, gem mining, hiking, swimming pool, toddlers pool, and water slide.
