The Fall Crawl Tour is one of the most valuable CARVC events—giving you the chance to see what works, share ideas, and build connections with other park owners and managers!

  • Host and Tour Stop #1: New Bern KOA Holiday (1565 B St., New Bern, NC 28560), where the tour will both begin and end. Located along the scenic Neuse River, New Bern KOA Holiday features 85 full-hookup sites, 9 electric/water sites, and 16 cabins. The park offers outstanding amenities including a pool, kayak, canoe and pedal bike rentals, playground, gem mine, jump pad, a 150-foot pier, catch-and-release fishing ponds, and a pavilion.
  • Tour Stop #2 – Dixon Landing RV Resort (135 John Pollock Rd., Grantsboro, NC 28529). Experience camping as it was meant to be—peaceful, scenic, and surrounded by nature. Dixon Landing features 2,000 feet of waterfront, a kayak launch, fishing pond, nature trails, and unique buddy and quad RV sites. 
  • Tour Stop #3 – Dogwood Family Campground(101 Happy Camper Way, Newport, NC 28570).A small, family-owned campground tucked beside the Croatan National Forest, just a short drive from the Crystal Coast beaches. Several sites back up to a stocked fishing pond with catfish, bass, and bream.
  • Tour Stop #4 – Emerald Isle RV Resort (9102 Coast Guard Rd., Emerald Isle, NC 28594). Lunch will be served at this oceanfront camping resort on beautiful Emerald Isle. Amenities include three direct beach accesses, swimming pool and splash pad, coffee and bagel shop, go-kart track, and live music on weekends.
  • Final Stop – The Lakes RV & Cabin Resort (100 Lakes Blvd., Maysville, NC 28555). Offering full-hookup RV sites, cozy cabins, and park model units, The Lakes is perfect for both weekend getaways and extended stays. Enjoy lakeside trails, fishing, kayaking, a sandy beach, pool, playground, and dog park.

LODGING LOCALLY: 

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations in writing by 8/15/26 will receive a full refund (less a $25.00 administrative fee). No refunds thereafter without a medical certificate.Fall Crawl Tour registration fees are non-refundable due to weather-related travel disruptions unless the Fall Crawl Tour is cancelled by CARVC. (Refunds will be subject to administrative fees). CARVC will make every effort to communicate updates in a timely manner and through e-mail and official Fall Crawl communication channels should weather impact the event. Individual travel challenges due to weather conditions in a specific attendee’s home region do not constitute grounds for conference cancellation.

Time

Come the night before for a welcome reception and dinner on Monday, 9/14/26, at 5pm (RSVP needed). The tour ends at 5:00pm on Tuesday, 9/15/26. Dinner to follow for those staying over (RSVP needed).
